Who Am I? #3

So this month has been a little more busy than usual. I began two prerequisite courses so that I can start my Bachelors degree. I am working and going to school and it’s taking a lot of my time right now but it will be over by August. I’m still not sure at all what I want to do to make money for a living. It is so difficult and lately I’ve been getting very frustrated. I’m 22 years old turning 23 years old in November and I still have no clue what to do for a living. I live with my parents and I go to school and work. I’m just getting worried that it is taking too long to gain financial freedom and finally live on my own. I have been trying to think of what kinda jobs could I get into right now that could give me enough money to live on my own. The job that I work with right now is my dads business which is painting (labor). I’m not sure what I’m talking about or how to figure all this out.. I just hope that by the age of 25 I can have financial freedom and be on my own. Sorry if this seems like me just complaining but I’m just trying to express the situation I’m in. Thank you for reading!

  1. Your blog moved me and I can totally relate to what you are feeling? I am not sure if the quest for WHO AM I and WHAT DO I WANT ever goes away. One thing that has helped me find a focus is to look at what I value the most. Have you ever taken a good values test. It helps to define what career you would be happiest with and make a plan to take action in the direction of what you value and makes YOU HAPPY!

    1. Thank you so much for reading and commenting. I have not taken a good values test but I will now definitely check it out. Thank you for your advice. I agree I don’t think the quest ever goes away because every day we are changing and evolving just like the nature around us. I hope everything is great and I appreciate your time!

  2. You can do it! Finding the right job to get you out of the house just takes time and persistence. You’ll make it out. Just don’t give up. Nancy has a good idea with tests like that. I hope you find the direction that suits you best. Good luck!
