Stop comparing yourself to others. You are on your own path, you have your own type of mindset. I know that it may be difficult at times to avoid comparing your life to others, but stay focused on your own journey. This is your life not theirs. Get off social media and instead do something that you want to do or that you been wanting to do. Don’t know what it is? Then get out a piece of paper, or a notebook and write down all your ideas that you are interested in or that you might want to do. Then pick one and try to do it at some point besides watching TV, or wasting time on your phone. I know what I am saying is cliche and you probably heard all of this a million times, but stop HEARING, and start UNDERSTANDING.
Its okay to watch TV, and it’s okay to be on social media but not when they are taking life away from you. There is so much to live for and so much to explore. You do not have to go to college to learn new things. There are tons of books, videos, and articles and so on that cover anything you can imagine (and most of it is free). You do not have to go to a different country to explore instead pick a new hobby or activity and try it out right in your own town.
For me it is easy to navigate my life by writing things down in a notebook, and basically planning and reading what I want to do and what I don’t want to do. Also when you explain to yourself (writing it down) why you want to do things and why you don’t want to do things it really helps open your mind and get to know yourself better.
