What do you do when you can’t help someone you once cared for?
Someone whom you will always hold dear to your heart, but whose heart has turned cold, and when you talk to them, it feels like inhaling toxic air.
You can’t breathe, and afterwards you feel stressed and sick.
Time reveals everyone.
Sadly, I learned that I have to leave the ones that are broken.
I don’t want to; I want to be there for them, but it has been years, and they are getting worse, more broken.
Now the lost feelings are turning into anger and hate towards my new family and me, but I still feel so much for them. I know that I can’t help them and I have no desire to fix them, but I know that I can love them.
Must I give up on the ones who need saving the most?
