“Saying yes to life, even in its strangest and hardest problems.” -Friedrich Nietzsche, Ecce Homo

I have read 4 of Nietzsche books this year, and I must say that I enjoy reading his work.

On Truth and Lies in a Nonmoral Sense Friedrich Nietzsche, Twilight of the Idols Friedrich Nietzsche, The Antichrist Friedrich Nietzsche and Ecce Homo Friedrich Nietzsche.

I began reading his work On the Genealogy of Morality on July 12, 2022, and it instantly stimulated my brain.

Now I consider Friedrich Nietzsche and F. Scott Fitzgerald as my two favorite authors.

The way he questions everything and traces back words and concepts with history and facts is truly amazing. He doesnt preach or tell you what is right or wrong; instead, he tells you what he sees. He is like a doctor, only telling you what your health problem is, not telling you how it happend or how to fix it.

At times, he does express what might be the right path and the wrong path, but only analytically, not in a self help kind of way.

I always, even at a young age, would get a pounding in my chest whenever I heard someone preaching to me how I can make my life better by doing something that they want me to do. I always questioned everything and everyone and was not afraid of being disliked or an outcast. I always believed that confrontation was worth it as long as I was honest, spoke with my soul, and had an open mind.

Finding his work when I was 26 years old seemed too late. I already had a similar mindset my whole life, but I am glad that I did find him when I was older because I developed who I am and how I think solely on my own.
